Yorkshire
Yorkshire is a vast and beautiful county encompassing all types of landscapes, from rugged moorland hills to the deeply pastoral farming areas. The coastline is also varied, from the flatter southerly beaches and marshes to the rugged cliffs and fossil-rich slopes of areas such as Robin Hood's Bay. Historically important and world famous cities such as York are an important part of a Yorkshire holiday. Here you will find the Yorvik Viking Centre and the famous York Minster Cathedral, both surrounded by a wealth of city attractions and medieval streets.
It is in Robin Hood's Bay that you will find our first Yorkshire self-catering cottage, Apple Cottage, and we have been very careful in selecting a cottage which will meet the exacting standards of our regular customers who have become used to the high standard of our properties in Scotland. Sleeping 6, this selfcatering cottage never fails to delight all those who stay there and continue to return year after year.
Robin Hoods Bay is a charming 'smuggler's' village with quaint shops and cafe's and fossil hunting opportunities galore.
